Hair Tips

Highlight age related white hair strands, make them look more natural or use henna.

If your hair is thinning lacking in volume, adding highlights adds an appearance of voluminous hair. 

When blow-drying or heat styling your hair, let it cool down before taking it off your brush.

To create the appearance of voluminous hair, blow-dry the roots first and lift them with your fingers.

To prevent hair loss, comb your hair in the shower with a wide tooth comb before rinsing out conditioner.

Oil is essential for your hair and scalp.

Keep a clean comb, if not the dirt from your hair will keep spreading on your scalp and may lead to skin conditions. 

Put those curlers and straighteners away!



Skin Care

Stop touching your face.Your hands are probably covered in bacteria.

Drink lots of water.

Splash your face with cold water at least once a day.

Don’t forget your neck, it is as equally important as your face.

Use   all-natural, nontoxic skin care products.

Spend time on your skin before bedtime than in the morning and never go to bed with make up on.

Enjoy the sun in moderation.

Eat a healthy diet.

Manage stress levels.

Sweat is great, so exercise regularly.


Get a good night’s sleep.

Leave the sunbed alone. 

Don’t smoke.



Nail Care

Keep you hands and nails clean.

Do not bite your nails.

Cut your toenails regularly. Soaking in warm water beforehand, makes them easier to cut.

Wear properly fitting footwear.

Moisturise your hands and nails regularly.

Use nail hardeners sparingly.

Take Biotin supplements if possible.

Half pink/half white nails

Yellowing and thickening of the nail, slowed growth rate 

Pale nail beds
Yellow-tinged nails with a slight blush at the base
